YUNiTI Privacy Policy
Welcome to YUNiTI.com, an online service that allows for members to set up unique personal profiles that can be linked together through networks of friends, groups, and schools. YUNiTI members can view each others??? profiles, communicate with old friends, find old and new classmates, meet new friends, share photos, post blogs, quizzes, and comments, and describe themselves and their interests.
To make the YUNiTI.com website and the YUNiTI application experience as enriched and friendly as possible, we request and display some personal information to other members and visitors, which allows our users to identify each other and expand their network. Any and all of this information can be individually hidden or shown to any subset of users, so that your privacy is fully under your control. Although your profile can be completely hidden, you will always be searchable by name and/or e-mail by other users.

Information collection and use
YUNiTI maintains and processes your personal information in order to provide you with you YUNiTI account and access to it. Your profile information is displayed according to the permission filters on your main page. We use your name and e-mail address to notify you of new members, messages, quizzes, or other information. You can disable these notifications via the menu Notifications > Customize. If you invite another person to join YUNiTI, we use the name and e-mail address you have provided us with to contact that person.
YUNiTI will store the e-mail addresses of any friends you invite, so that the respondents may be added to the friend???s list of the member sending the invitations, and also to send reminders of the invitations. These stored e-mails will be used for no other purpose besides sending invitations and automatic addition of users. If you wish to not receive invitations from being sent to your e-mail address, you may follow the directions on the e-mail on how to no longer receive invitations.
We will in no way, shape, or form, send unsolicited e-mails to your e-mail account. All e-mails sent to you will be for notification purposes only, and can be disabled as aforementioned.
YUNiTI also logs non-personally-identifiable information, including IP address, profile information, aggregate user data, and browser type, from users and visitors to the site. This data is used to manage our website, track usage and improve our services. This non-personally-identifable information may be recorded for security and monitoring purposes. |
